The Dealer Geek Facebook page 3.0 – What to Expect

Took a shot of this guy in a Tim Horton's parking lot

I’ve personally been dissapointed lately with the Facebook Fan Pages I’ve been following.  It’s almost as if every business/website HAS to have a Fan Page or they aren’t in the game.  The Dealer Geek Facebook fan page was pretty weak, let me tell ya.   Basically I uploaded the logo and just let the games begin.  The only content I had on the page was my blog posts.  After Jessica’s Ruth’s last blog post, “Developing a Facebook Strategy” I decided it was time I came up with my own strategy.

Since transitining to an Iphone it has been a flurry of picture snapping, tweeting and Facebookin’.  Finally I figured out how I can post a picture to the Fan Page under The Dealer Geek and not my personal profile.   It may suprise you but a majority of my friends and family are not interested in Automotive Marketing and Car Dealerships 24/7.  Also, I didn’t want to just ask random questions like “What is your favourite gangster movie??” or “What kind of cereal do you like”.

So here is what I am going to promise you Dealer Geek Nation.  Every single day (Monday – Friday) I am going to post one picture of my life on the road as an automotive vendor EACH DAY.  Don’t worry I’m not going to just snap pictures of the outside of dealerships.   I am going to bring you through my journey of passed out Catering Drivers, new cars, dealership staff, innovative promotions, and other magical moments that I’m sure to encounter.

If you have not joined the Facebook Fan Page I strongly suggest you hit “Like” on the side bar or right OR here:  F’n awesome Fan Page .

Oh ya………….. If you have not already, please enter your email address below.  “Not another newsletter in my inbox” you say!!!  What you will receive is 3-4 emails per month that are plain text.  I will deliver awesome content and even some special promotions and offers that vendors approach me with.  Don’t be scared…..We’re in this together.

Yours Truly,

Ryan Thompson
